Vermont Queer Archives Pride 2014 Exhibit Opening

"Generations of Pride" Join the Pride Center of Vermont for a special opening reception and viewing celebrating your heritage with the Vermont Queer Archives. This exhibit traces the history of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community Pride celebrations in Vermont from 1983 to the present. Materials on display include posters, banners, buttons and other ephemera that reflect a diverse and vibrant LGBTQ community. The collection recently acquired documents pivotal to the legal battle for civil unions and marriage equality in Vermont; these will be available for viewing for the first time ever in an exhibition setting.
