Sophie Labelle; VT Gender Pride Speaker 2016

Pride Vermont is excited to announce world renowned author & illustrator Sophie Labelle, as the 2016 Gender Pride speaker. Sophie Labelle's webcomic "Assigned Male" addresses and challenges cis-sexisum and transphobia through the adventures of Stephie, a young transgender girl. The afternoon will open with a local Outright youth speaker, followed by a local artist speaker, then featuring Sophie as keynote. The event will wrap up with a question and answer session with all the speakers.
